Perhaps the biggest in scope was 2002's THE WORLD IS TOO MUCH, the third Ross Sterling adventure. Once again, Nathan Ryan acted in front of the camera as well as directed behind the camera. Most of the crew from the previous films were back to help - producer Chris Barret, actors Dan Parenti, Marc Colucci, Taylor Hill. For the first time, Synthetic American conducted an expansive search to find an actress to play the villainous Allegra Marsala. Producers finally settled on Gina Theodore, a femme fatale to give Ross Sterling a run for his money. With locations in Boston, Malibu, Maine, and Rome, filming took just shy of 2 years to complete. The film premeiered at the Brattle Theater in Boston in February 2002. The film ended with the standard "Synthetic American Will Return" - oh yes, it will. | ||
