| Fred Jenkins' FlemulA was Synthetic American's groundbreaking first feature. Following the exploits of the dreaded Count Flemula, cursed forever to walk the Earth forever in search of Twinkies, Flemula thrilled and delighted audiences with its gothic horror, lavish sets, and vibrant (often very runny colors). Production was well underway in 1993 when two historic casting decisions were made. Daniel Parenti was cast as the captain of the USS Lapsang, and Amy Faucon became Penelope, Flemula's victim. Perhaps DCTV's highest ratings were acheived on Halloween night 1994, when Flemula was broadcast for the second time. | |
