| Nathan, Synthetic American's most prolific director, was born in Brighton, MA in 1977. Starting off in local television in the early 1990's, Nathan developed his finely honed sense of pacing and composition, often encouraging his actors to put their own spin on the material. After leaving television to persue other interests, Nathan enjoyed independence from the studio system and came into his own as a director in 1992.
