| He was once told by an interviewer "Everybody would like to be Brian Fleming". Brian is said to have replied: "So would you." His early years in Sherborn were extraordinarily eventful. He left school at age 14, lying about his age and forging his father's signature on a letter to join Nathan Ryan's troupe of slapstick comedians. He then picked up a cockney accent in the music halls in London, and then in July 1992 he was one of the eight Wonder boys selected to go to America. His biggest success was Fred Jenkins' Flemula. Now retired from acting, the world quietly hopes for the day when Brian Fleming's mug returns to the silver screen, or at least the phosphorescent one. | | |
